After years of maintaining a long-distance relationship, with Luke living in Williston ND and Lindsay in Fargo ND, the couple was overjoyed to finally tie the knot at Adler Ranch, near Alexandria MN, in front of family and friends.

The proposal? It was anything but ordinary! When Luke asked Lindsay to marry him, he didn’t have a ring in hand. Instead, he playfully slipped a zip tie around her finger, sealing the deal. As Lindsay put it perfectly, “If you’ve found your person, it doesn’t matter what they propose with.” That moment of spontaneity and laughter became a story they’ll cherish forever.

Later, the couple enjoyed a memorable ring shopping trip to Gunderson’s in Fargo, where Lindsay was able to pick out the rings of her dreams. Their journey from long-distance to happily-ever-after was a heartwarming reminder that love conquers all, no matter the miles between.

Luke and Lindsay visited Adler Ranch on a cool spring evening with both sets of parents. She later writes in her 5***** review after the wedding:

When looking at venues online I stumbled across Adler Ranch. As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted our wedding reception to be there. I made an appointment to view it with my family and fiancé. It was the only venue we viewed and we signed the contract immediately after the tour. There is no other venue quite like Adler ranch. While wedding planning I was extremely stressed out. As a Type A bride I wanted everything to be perfect. Marlys was there for me every step of the way with anything I needed. On the wedding day Marlys was so helpful and was there for all the behind the scenes. She made sure everything ran smoothly. My day wouldn’t have been as perfect if it wasn’t for her. She truly cares and wants your day to be absolutely wonderful. Guests at our reception were in awe of the beauty of it and I even got asked how I found it. There’s so much for adults and kids to explore. I am beyond grateful to have found Adler Ranch. Thank you! ❤️
