Best Practices for Including Your Dog at your wedding
Personality Matters: Your dog should be friendly, healthy, well-behaved, and able to handle the excitement and unpredictability of a crowd. Loud noises, large groups, and unfamiliar surroundings can be stressful, so make sure your dog is comfortable in such environments.
Leash Policy: For everyone's safety, including your pup’s, your dog must remain on a leash at all times while at the venue. This ensures that your pet can’t get lost, run away into the pasture or inadvertently disrupt the flow of your event.
Dog Handler Requirement: To avoid any hiccups, we require that you assign a designated 'dog handler' for the day. This person will be responsible for your dog’s well-being, making sure they’re comfortable, on a leash, and attended to at all times. After the ceremony or photos, the handler will escort your dog to a safe, quiet space off venue grounds so that you can enjoy your reception worry-free.
Remember their own dish for food and water: Your pup will feel more comfortable if he has his own items with him, his dish, perhaps his blanket to lay on and a toy or ball to hold his attention during the wedding photos.
