Real Wedding: Beautiful Summer Wedding
Real Weddings: Kali & Colton at Adler Ranch, Alexandria MN Wedding Venue
We were thrilled to host the beautiful, elegant, and fun wedding of Kali and Colton at Adler Ranch near Alexandria, MN. Let's take a journey through their wedding day!
Kali and Colton, hailing from Osakis, MN, discovered Adler Ranch during their search for the perfect wedding venue last winter. Kali found our venue online and after their first visit, even with the snow and the cold, they knew Adler Ranch was the place where they wanted to exchange their vows. It was an honor to be chosen as their venue, and we are delighted that our meeting led to their memorable wedding day.
One of the unique elements that made this wedding truly special was the couple's modification of the 'unity candle experience.' Instead of a traditional unity candle, they decided to share a shot of their favorite whiskey, adding a personal touch that brought a sense of fun to the ceremony. Their shots were displayed on a whiskey barrel from the Adler Ranch Something Borrowed Collection.
The wedding took place on a beautiful cool summer July day. We took measures to ensure a comfortable evening for everyone by spraying for mosquitoes in the morning, creating an almost mosquito-free atmosphere after dark. The S'more bar was a hit among guests, and the venue's collection of lighted signs and antiques added to the charming rustic vibe.
The Emotional Ceremony focused on Family
After the ceremony, Kali and Colton signed their wedding certificate in the cozy Adler Ranch Cabin, with their parents acting as witnesses. After the signing, the couple stole away to the private hydrangea garden next to the cabin, cherishing a few precious moments alone together. It's these quiet moments amidst the whirlwind of the day that allow couples to truly soak in the experience and create lasting memories.
When it came to attire, the wedding party opted for formal wear from Jackie J's Bridal and Formal Wear, Alexandria, MN. Their selection reflected the elegance and style that defined the wedding's ambiance. The wedding party looked absolutely stunning! The choice of the color palette added to the overall beauty of the event, creating a captivating and serene ambiance.
The wedding also featured several unique touches and decor items that Kali and Colton utilized from the Adler Ranch “Something Borrowed Collection” such as antique Alexandria Brewing Company wooden beer kegs that adorned their dessert table. These distinctive elements added character and charm to the overall decor.
Cocktail Hour and Wedding Dinner
Guests thoroughly enjoyed exploring the venue grounds, discovering the vintage signage and basking in the vast grounds. Adler Ranch offers a multitude of experiences, making it difficult to take in all its features in a single visit. The Grain Bin Bar served as perfect backdrops for fun photos and created an inviting ambiance.
The food for the wedding dinner was catered by the talented Stacy and his crew at Lakes Catering. From chicken with a mushroom cream sauce to pork tenderloin, potatoes, salad, and bread, the culinary delights were exceptional. We cherish our partnership with Lakes Catering, as their impeccable service and consistently wonderful food always leave a lasting impression. The bar services, expertly handled by Amy, added an extra layer of enjoyment to the night.
Capturing the special moments of Kali and Colton's day was Emily from 'In His Image Photography.' As a family friend, Emily's talent behind the lens and her warm personality made her an excellent choice as their photographer.
To keep the celebration alive and the dance floor packed, Kali and Colton enlisted DJ Sabrina from Alexandria. DJ Sabrina's expertise and energy ensured that the night was filled with non-stop fun and dancing.
History Lesson
On a lighter note, the couple's grandparents shared a fascinating history lesson with us. They told us about the historical silo, estimated to be 75 years old, that was sold by the Osakis Silo Company, which they owned for many years. It's moments like these that make this adventure so incredibly rewarding, as we forge personal connections with our couples and their families. (Why didn’t we take a picture with them and our Osakis Silo? Maybe they’ll come back and visit us again someday!)
To top it off, Colton left a glowing 5-star review for Adler Ranch, highlighting the beauty of our venue and our friendly and accommodating nature. We were honored to be a part of their special day, and we'll preserve their signature on our vintage luggage cart, allowing them to revisit their mark on Adler Ranch in the years to come.
We would like to extend our gratitude to the outstanding vendors who contributed their expertise and services to make this day exceptional:
